True to form, Gladman has lodged an appeal against AVDC’s decision to refuse planning permission for a 3rd application to build 211 houses on land at Glebe Farm, Verney Road (GF3). The Appeal will be dealt with by way of a Public Inquiry to be conducted by a Planning Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State.
We know from our experience of previous Inquiries and Court cases that the presence of large numbers of residents at such hearings has had a really positive impact on Inspectors/judges. Accordingly, we are keen to get as large a showing as possible at the GF3 Appeal Inquiry.
Would those who are willing and able to attend please keep Tuesday, 5 July 2016 free in your diaries.
The Inquiry will start at 10.00 a.m. and the venue will be the Diamond Room, Aylesbury Vale District Council, The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF.
Winslow Town Council will be in action at the Public Inquiry and volunteers are making representations to the Inspector in support of AVDC's decision for the third time to refuse planning permission.
Gladman has estimated that the Inquiry will need 8 days to hear all the evidence!! It would help a great deal to have as many Winslow residents as possible there, especially on the first day. However, you can come along to give your support at any time during the scheduled Inquiry period (5 - 14 July 2016) and stay for as long as you like.
There's plenty of free parking right outside The Gateway in Aylesbury and there's a cafe there too.
